This week, the blog will be about Tuesday’s boys football match. According to the Ocean Academy sports coach Mr White, it was a very exciting match. We played Long fleet school, tried our hardest but unfortunately we lost 1-0.
The man of the match was Romeo. Mr White was very unhappy about the condition of our field he said, “The pitch did not help but I suppose it was the same for both teams.”
We would like to inform you that the boys football team is improving as we speak!
This Thursday our girls football teams entered a tournament at Carter Community school. We took two teams. We are proud to present to you that one of our teams made it to semi-finals and won! This means that we will be returning to Carter on the 15th November to play in the finals. There shall be two finals, one against Long Fleet and another against Talbot Heath. If we win both of those matches, that means that we will be going on to compete for our county!
Also, we would like to say a big congratulations to the other team that came along and played extremely well. Bear in mind, we have only had 4 weeks of squad training. We are certain that we will train our hardest and play as well as we possibly can! This concludes this week’s blog, we will be back very soon with more sport news! 😊
