Well–Being Day

​ On the 20th April 2018, Ocean Academy celebrated Well-Being Day. The whole school came in wearing their P.E kit or sports kit...including the teachers! Throughout the day we had loads of exercising and mental health activities such as clapping games, skipping, mindfulness colouring and sports. We also had a healthy lunch box focus where we were all able to bring in healthy food for lunch (see photos below for healthy lunch box ideas).

In the afternoon, we had some breathing exercises which helps us to keep calm and focused. We also looked at emotions and the brain. Then at 3'o clock we ran the daily mile with Peter Thompson (see the

Peter Thompson post for more info on that one).
