What do Members of Parliament do?

M.P.s make sure pupils do not bring in toys that distract them and others from doing their work, unless they have a medical condition.

M.P.s also make the school a better place. We already have plans to make a Tuck Shop (a shop where pupils can buy fresh healthy food during break times) a buddy shed (a place where books, board games and pillows are kept to relax).

What happens if M.Ps are disobedient?

If M.P.s are hypocritical Mrs. Brown will decide if you will have your Member of Parliament taken away and you will be unlikely to get it back.

How we became a Member of Parliament:

From the moment that Mrs. Brown introduced this scheme we had to tell our teacher that we wanted to participate and give a reason why. The teachers put 4 names on a printed piece of paper and gave one out to everyone. They had to mark the name of the person they wanted to have to represent their class. We went to the hall and put it in a closed box to be counted. Mrs. Brown then announced who are the new M.P.s were.

Meetings:

Mrs. Brown organizes meetings regularly, during assemblies for 20 minutes. This is when we confer about important matters of the school and what we can do next
