Sports Leader Training Day

On 7/10/19, we took a mix of year 5 and 6 to Poole High School on a sports leader training day. The children were out all day and were partnered with Livingstone Road School for the daily activties. They did a number of games across the day. They first competed in some teamwork games, then created some games in which they could use at school and even change to match all age groups! Everyone enjoyed the dance session, even Mr White joined in and had a boogie! They then came back together in the hall to do all the important planning for back to school.

I interviewed Sharon, she said that it was so fun that Poole High takes their sport really seriously. She actually preferred it to normal lessons (no offence teachers). It was exciting and she really liked it.
