Football Tournament

2/10/19 Football Tournament

On the 2nd October 2019, we took 14 children to a football tournament. Both of our teams of 7 played 3 games each. The two teams were: Green Ocean and Ocean.

Green Ocean won a game, lost one and drew another.

Ocean drew two games 0-0 and unfortunately lost 3-0 in their final game.

Mr White said “all students played well, even though it was their first time playing together. Massive shout out to the two year 3s that stepped in to help!”

We interviewed Oliver, goalkeeper of Green Ocean, and he said that he was proud to wear the Ocean Badge. He saved many goals and loved how the team performed overall.

Some rival teams were there, including Broadstone and Baden-Powell.

Everyone was so proud of the teams and we hope to enter more competitions in the near future.
